Liminal Store is a small, independent South African business with a single online storefront. We do one thing: find well-made objects from local suppliers and release them in a weekly drop.
Buying in small quantities means we can pay makers fairly, check each item ourselves, and keep the catalogue honest. It also means stock is finite. We would rather sell out than carry filler.
Nothing here is mass-market. If a product deserves a longer explanation, it gets its own full page, so you know what it is, who made it, and why it costs what it costs.
Questions, answered
- Where do your products come from?
- Every item in a drop is sourced from a South African supplier, studio or maker. We buy in small quantities, which is why runs are limited.
- How often do you release new products?
- One drop per week. It stays live until it sells through or the next drop replaces it.
- How long does delivery take?
- Orders are dispatched within two working days and typically arrive in 2 to 4 working days by courier anywhere in South Africa.
- What is your returns policy?
- Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
- Is checkout secure?
- Yes. Payment is processed on a PCI-DSS compliant, encrypted checkout. We never see or store your card details.
